Ripple is proving itself to be the one blockchain that is steadily and speedily stepping up the ladder of mass adoption. In its effort to bridge the gap between blockchain ecosystem and traditional fiat money based payment processors, Ripple has achieved one more success.
After Ripple announced the public release of xRapid at the Swell Conference, the Ripple team hinted towards alliance with three important global payment processors already, who are already testing their technology. The new now garners more weight as Ripple revealed a new company that joins this list: Viamericas.

Still maintaining an air of discreetness, the “announcement” just lists the company within a Brochure published by RIpple titled “On-Demand Liquidity: Harnessing the power of XRP on RippleNet.” The document has Viamericas mentions as the first one of the list for adopting xRapid.
“A Game Changer Global payment providers, such as Viamericas, Cuallix, IDT, MercuryFX and others are using xRapid to significantly lower their liquidity costs and send real-time payments — an industry first.”
Neither Ripple nor official Viamericas website has any further information regarding this. Though the quote printed on the brochure: by Paul Dwyer, Viamericas’ CEO, clearly expresses his enthusiasm.
” We believe that digital assets like XRP will play a key role in future of cross-border payments, helping to safely address some of the structural inefficiencies of legacy settlement infrastructure.”
XRP currently performs best amongst the top 10 of coinmarketcap, the total market cap at the time of writing amounted to $18.726.617.062.
